For several years now I’ve had a dream to go traveling in southeast Asia and, being a fan of independent travel, I wanted to do it the way the locals travel, that is by motorbike. After many years of dreaming about it I finally decided it’s time I actually do it, so I took three months leave from my job and bought some flight tickets. It so happens that me and my girlfriend Yini got married a little while go. Not to squander the precious wedding leave the companies give us (almost two weeks added on top of the annual leave), we decided our honeymoon should be some place we wouldn’t normally go. Due to time constraints, I have once again been forced to bend (my own, arbitrary) rules for land travel. Leaving home around 10 in the morning, Yini and I took a plane from Copenhagen down to the capital city of Croatia, Zagreb. Since we did not want to rush (and spend our vacation stressed out) we decided to stay here for the night.
