The first place you’ll reach beyond the gate is this abandoned cafe
Right after the cafe is this dried up water wheel with Buddha making sure no one goes past the fence
Turns out it’s a completely overgrown pond. The Jade Belt bridge gets you to the other side
It seems like the path actually continues further from this last pavilion, but the jungle is so thick you’d need a machete. Since I didn’t bring one I decided to end my exploration there. As you can probably guess from the massive amount of photos, I think this is a really cool place and despite the heat and the mosquitos I thoroughly enjoyed exploring it. I think it’s well worth a visit for anyone interested in strange places or urban exploration.

I love this place. Not sure if you checked them out or if they are open now but one building has a mini recreation of the terracotta warriors. A near-perfect recreation. And another building even houses an airplane. It’s the place and kinda a sad story

I can guess which building houses the terracotta warriors but it was closed. No idea where they would fit an actual airplane but wherever it is the building is closed.
